Ministry Workshop
September 25-27, 2009, Camp Bethel
ECCL offers your campus ministry the opportunity to explore the theological and practical application of the aspects of campus ministry as put forth by the bishopsŐ document "Empowered by the Spirit". There will be time for presentations, small group discussion, discernment exercises, prayer and reflection. The key focus will be on Leadership, Mission and Vision. Students will have the opportunity to network with young adults from other campuses. There will also be a time for campus groups to come together and share their learning experience. This year, for the first time, we will have a music ministry workshop running concurrently with the leadership workshop.
Encounter with Christ ...EWC
EWC is a coed retreat for college young adults. It is designed for and primarily directed by a team of catholic college students (former EWC participants) from colleges across the Richmond Diocese. The weekend (held in the Spring Semester) provides an atmosphere of friendliness, acceptance, and religious conviction. It starts around 9:30pm on Thursday and ends around 5:30 pm on Sunday. STM will help pay the registration fee... Joann will provide transportation if needed. SAVE ONE OF THE DATES NOW!
Catholic Update
These are informal gatherings centered on student generated topics and facilitated by the "campus mom" Joann. These gatherings are designed to deepen our understanding of what it means to be Catholic and provide opportunities for lively discussion. After the Sunday 10:45 mass.
